Sprintr is proud to announce certification as a Carbon Neutral organisation for the 2023/2024 financial year, as verified by sustainability management platform NetNada.

Sustainability has been at the forefront of Sprintr’s business operations since its inception in 2016, however this certification reflects months of formal evaluation. In partnership with NetNada, every element of Sprintr’s business - products, processes, and operations - has been reviewed for their carbon impact. Through data recording, carbon calculations, and strategic changes across the organisation, Sprintr has significantly reduced its environmental footprint.

Key actions included switching to green energy in the Sprintr office, redesigning products with sustainability in mind, improving internal waste management systems, and offsetting remaining emissions through verified Australian carbon credits with Tasman Environmental Markets (TEM).

“Achieving carbon neutrality is a significant milestone in Sprintr’s sustainability journey,” said Chris Schlueter, Director of Business & Innovation.

“We're proud of the changes we’ve made, but with proper baselines now in place, we’re even more focused on the road ahead. We’ll continue to innovate and improve, especially in areas we had to offset.”

Extending beyond internal operations, Sprintr champions more eco-conscious choices across the event industry, offering solutions that help clients reduce their own environmental impact, which in turn positively affects business, budgets, and delegate experiences.

As part of their ongoing commitment, and through their partnership with NetNada, Sprintr will continue working on the areas that required offsets, aiming for further emissions reductions in future reporting periods.

The Certificate of Carbon Neutrality was confirmed and issued by NetNada in accordance with their Carbon Neutral Business Standard.

This certification marks a significant step toward Sprintr’s long-term goal of setting new benchmarks in sustainable event technology and leading the Australasian events industry through innovation, transparency, and meaningful impact.
